On 22 April 2010, the founding rectors of Austria's three technical universities presented themselves to the press with the claim ‘Achieving more by joining forces’. Since then, the three institutions have been jointly presenting their concerns and demands in the areas of research, teaching and higher education policy under the umbrella brand of the ‘TU Austria’ association.
