The TU Austria “Women Engineers of the Future” Prize 2022
Your idea for a better world.

Our world is facing a variety of challenges. The United Nations (UN) has therefore defined 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the 2030 Agenda. This global plan to promote sustainable peace and prosperity and to protect our planet has been worked on by all countries since 2016. The aim is to translate this shared vision for combating poverty and reducing inequalities into national development plans. It is particularly important to address the needs and priorities of the most vulnerable population groups and countries - because the 17 goals can only be achieved by 2030 if no one is left behind.
Research and teaching at the TU Austria universities (TUA) is also designed to find solutions for current and future challenges and to train the problem solvers of the future.
The TUA Award is looking for your creative ideas. How can our society become fairer, how can we live and do business more sustainably, how can we still save our planet? Submit your STEM ideas (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and show how technical and scientific concepts and inventions can contribute to a better world.
