For the first time in June 2024, academic and industrial partners as well as political representatives will come together in Millstatt am See to discuss topics such as innovation, biomedical engineering, GreenTech and artificial intelligence. TechForum Millstatt aims to strengthen Europe's scientific and industrial competitiveness by increasing Austria's attractiveness for skilled labour, promoting academic-industrial partnerships and supporting stakeholder engagement. In addition to specialised lectures, presentations and discussions, the TechForum offers various networking events to promote the exchange of ideas, translational research and the practical implementation of current research results and innovations. Another highlight is the hands-on workshop on the production of microfluidics and biosensors, system integration as well as biology-material interactions and organ-on-a-chip technologies.
