TU Austria - 4TU Kooperation als internationales Vorbild für die Schaffung eines österreichisch-niederländischen Wissenschaftsnetzwerks
On the initiative of the Austrian Embassy in The Hague and the BMBWF, a “Network of Austrian and Dutch Universities, Science and Research” was launched on March 22, 2019.
At this kick-off event, concrete measures to intensify bilateral cooperation between Austria and the Netherlands in the field of science were discussed.
At the invitation of Heidemaria Gürer (Austrian Ambassador in The Hague), TU Austria Rectors Wilfried Eichlseder (Montanuniversität Leoben) and Harald Kainz (Graz University of Technology) as well as Elke Standeker (Secretary General of TU Austria) together with 4TU Rectors Tim van der Hagen (Delft University of Technology) and Arthur Mol (Wageningen University & Research) as well as Ijsbrand Haagsma (Secretary General 4TU. Federation) were guests in The Hague to present the existing TU Austria - 4TU cooperation between the technical universities of the two countries, which served as a model for the new bilateral science network.”
The visit to ESA/ESTEC in Noordwijk provided interesting insights into European space research.
